Green Pool Clean Up

Chemical Wash: In extreme cases the best way to revive a pool is a chemical wash. A chemical wash consist of either an acid bath, chlorine bath or both. In this process the pool will have to be drained and pressure washed before the chemical bath can take place. In the event that the pool has a thick layer of algae attached to the walls and floors of the pool, a chlorine wash would be best. An Acid wash would be best for a pool that is showing a lot of staining and discoloration. The acid wash will removed most stains and will give your pool a uniform color and leave it looking new.

DRAINING THE POOL

Draining a pool may be required in some extreme situation. If the pool has to be drained it will be determined if the whole body of water or only half the water will be drained depending on the severity of the waters condition. This may also require a filter cleaning along with start up chemicals once the pool is filled.
